The fiberglass cloth features a satin weave, which is flatter and more easily draped over complex shapes compared to plain weaves. This makes it ideal for aerospace applications.

Tips:

• Satin weaves can be more easily distorted than other weaves
• To produce a symmetrical laminate, invert half the plies as each side of the fabric is largely fill or warp fibers
