Product Description
PMI is a cross-linked rigid foam material with polymethacrylimide as the matrix. Its main molecular chain is C-C chain, and the molecular side chains contain imide structure. It has a high-performance matrix material and uniform and dense cells. The structure gives PMI foam excellent structural stability and excellent mechanical properties. PMI foam is the highest-performance sandwich material at the same density.

PMI series foam has performance characteristics such as high specific strength, specific modulus, high temperature resistance, fatigue resistance, and low dielectric. It is widely used in aerospace, high-speed urban rail, ships and yachts, automobile manufacturing, sports equipment, medical equipment, audio and acoustic products and other fields.

PMI series foam product characteristics
--It has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and is homogeneous. Under the same density, PM I foam is the foam material with the highest strength and stiffness among commonly used core materials.

--100% closed cell structure, small and uniform cell diameter, low resin absorption rate, which can significantly reduce the weight of customer structural parts.

--High temperature resistance, the high thermal distortion temperature of PM I foam is suitable for various molding processes including autoclave, shortening the curing time and improving customer production efficiency.

--Good resin matching performance, compatible with various resin systems.

--It has thermoforming properties, allowing design freedom and flexibility, and a wide range of applications.

--High fatigue resistance, suitable for use in sandwich structures with high dynamic loads.

--Very low thermal expansion coefficient, good dielectric properties and X-ray penetration.
