Product Description

Introduction 
Laminated glass is a compound product consisting of two or more layers of glass sandwiching one or multiple layers of organic polymer film. Through a process of high temperature pre-pressing (or vacuuming) then a high temperature, high pressure treatment the glass and polymer layers are integrated into one. Laminated glass is more often used in architecture than traditional single pane glass as it doesn't shatter when broken making it critical for safety concerns. It is widely chosen for glass roofing and walls.However, although much safer than single pane glass, laminated glass does not provide any additional heat insulation. In this regard it is no better than single pane glass.For this reason, we have developed a rare earth laminated glass using nanotechnology which blocks 99% of infrared rays & UV thermal radiation. This RE laminated glass significantly reduces the high temperatures caused by direct sunlight through glass roofs and walls. Testing shows effective temperature reduction of 15-20 ºC.

Principle
We have overturned the reflection mechanism light pollution caused by traditional glass products. The rare earth metals in our laminated glass can easily insulate infrared and ultraviolet rays as we transform the nanoscale molecule structure of the metal.  This structure targets the specific characteristics of infrared and ultraviolet light. Solar radiation heat energy is absorbed into the RE film surface and  transformed into physical heat energy then is carried away by air convection.
Applied with other technologies and different energy saving solutions, a variety of environment friendly glass products with high barriers to the infrared and ultraviolet rays in sunlight can be created. These derived glass products can block heat radiation, reduce heat convection and delay heat conduction to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction.


Advantage
Our RE laminated glass has a high safety performance because the adhesive film layer in the middle is tough and has strong adhesion. It does not easily penetrate when impacted or damaged. If it breaks, the shards will not spread because the glass layer will be firmly bonded to the adhesive film. Laminated glass is superior to traditional glass in many aspects. Enhanced vibration resistance, anti-theft, bulletproof and explosion-proof performance. Our specially developed rare earth intermediate layer further enhances the advantages of laminated glass. Since the intermediate film reduces solar radiation, prevents energy loss and saves A/C power consumption, energy is saved. In addition, our intermediate film can cushion noise and reduce vibration, thereby providing sound insulation. In addition, the interface layer blocks 99% of ultraviolet rays, which greatly slows down the fading of indoor furniture and curtains.

The sound insulation of RE laminated class is better than traditional glass of the same thickness. For example, a traditional glass structure with 5mm glass + 10mm hollow space + 5mm glass does not provide the same sound insulation as laminated glass consisting of 5mm glass + 1mm adhesive film + 5mm glass. This is because the hollow space in traditional glass produces resonance under medium and low frequency sound waves which amplifies noise just like a drum beating.
