Polyester veil helps absorb liquid resins,forms uniformity smooth surface and realizes good breathability and weathering resistance ,guarantees good resin affinity, meanwhile eliminating bubbles, and covering fibers completely, furthermore provides crack and craze-resistant finish.
It is highly suitable for pultrusion,RTM, vacuum infusion and hand lay-up processes.
JLON polyester veils can be customized to your needs based on weight, size,aesthetics, chemical free fibers and surface treatment additives (like optical brighteners, TiO2, UV additives and microbial treatments). Depending on your application, they can also be printed with following patterns and colors: eg.wood grain, marble, camouflage, mesh pattern, flower and various single color (red, black, yellow, green, blue, etc)to enhance surface effects.
Such a chemical free,synthetic surface veil allows for your finish product more smooth, vibrant and true colors, improve uv stability and prevent color fade, make end product appearance more vivid and charming.
Ambient humidity affects weather resistance. Keep humidity below 60 and use good quality TBPB. The quality of the veil will determine the weather resistance performance. Compared with other materials, coloured polyester veils can be fully bonded to the resin and are not easy to peel off. Most of the cracking of the finished product starts at the seams. We use special technology to completely wrap the profiles. There is only one seam in the finished product and it is almost invisible.
